October Carn Mor Campout

I hope you are all well and happy. We had an excellent meet for may. The rain cleared up and we were able to get a few drams in an outdoor socially distant environment. Thank you to all who donated bottles and time.

We will be having some more outdoor events this summer and I thought I would take a moment to share with you the breakdown of how they will work. First off we will be sending out a Google invite to everyone who has signed up on the website. So If you know someone who would like to join but hasn’t yet, get them to sign up. Second will be the bottles, food and fire. Most of our meets until November will have a fireplace. As people respond there will be a number assigned, 1,2,or 3.

1 = bottle, 2 = snack and 3 = fuel for the fire.

However if you have something that you would like to share that would go with the meets them that would be great. You can also trade your number with someone else that is going. Third is respect, for wherever we have a meet, whether it is in someone’s donated back yard or a park somewhere, we should aim to leave the place better than we found it. Please try to bring your own chairs to these outdoor events if you can and there will be hand sanitizer there to help keep germs at bay. If you have any questions about this please don’t hesitate to ask.

There will be a September Carn Mor camp out the second week in September. We are planning to meet at a private campground and have a great night of scotch. We are narrowing down our choices of campsites, so if you have a campsite that you know of that is not to far out of the city let us know. Right now we are looking at a first come first serve 30$ a night campsite by the Pembina river. More details on that coming soon.
