I came here to chew bubblegum and drink scotch… and I’m all out of bubblegum
In this growing Whiskey world its hard not to get overwhelmed. That’s where we come in. we try to expand and share and give all levels of experience the same opportunity. We have online and in person meets where we provide a respectful platform for sharing your experience.

As one of the founding members my dream for this group is for it to be a guide for people on their scotch journey. Creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere for novices and experts alike to educate and try new things is important to me. Everyone’s taste is different and that goes for mine too. Since I started drinking Scotch and Whiskey, I noticed that my notes are not what everyone else tastes, and definitely not the notes on the packaging. That’s okay because my experiences are my own just as yours belong to you That’s what makes Scotch and Whiskey so interesting and fun in this group is the sharing.
I am really lucky as I get to host our online events and get to hear all the amazing taste adventures of everyone else. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our online events or in person when you share yours!

The key to enjoying whiskey, I find, is the same as enjoying life. Sip it slowly, focus on the subtle notes, and it’s all about the journey, not the destination.
I am relatively new to whiskey. Like most, I love Scotch, with a big focus on peaty Islay scotch. I also love the whiskeys of the world: Bourbon, Japanese, and Canadian whiskeys have been my favorites.

“A grey, bland and dismal life. ” Respectable words which I blatantly choose to ignore. Something you should know about me, I tend to be of relatively strong opinion compared to my experience. This being said I am a student of conscious experience and paying close attention, this is how I came to whiskey. Detail oriented, and a deep dive into the experiences of smell and taste, I hope to bring to this group my nearly obsessive research in all aspects of the craft. Whether it be marketing, pricing, distilling, shipping or aftermarket auctions, I will bring my own experiences and moreover want to hear about and learn from yours. Seeing the world through more than one lens is important.

Scotch…from any islay or glen is the final frontier in alcohol for myself. It’s a journey that takes you to where it is made and how you extrapolate the flavour by all the characteristics that make the year and brand special. No scotch is alike and its unique complexity can give you an experience like no other. Currently I am an eager novice when it comes to this and I have currently enjoyed all the tastings and meets since July of last year. I appreciate all the contrasts and similarities that everyone has brought to the table in taking the scotch/whiskey experience. Every taste is unique whether its peaty, how it hits your palette and most importantly all the intricate tastes we get whether its either banana bread, green apple, or a sweet hit of sherry from the last barrel it was aged in….there are millions of combinations that make this unique. I am also a whiskey man who enjoys both Japanese and Irish especially. I enjoy adding my feedback when it comes to how we rate and explore these scotches and whiskies in the future. Cheers!
